Chicago Cutlery Walnut Tradition 10-Inch Serrated Bread/Slicing Knife

I bake my own bread and have a bread slicer to easier and accurately cut the loaf. My old bread knife (7.5 inch) kept falling out of the grooves of the slicer because it was too short.

I purchased this knife solely on the fact of the length (10 in) and I couldn't be happier. It fixed my slicing frustration with the slicer and it cuts the bread with out tearing through it.

excellent serrated knife - Peter E. Safir - charlotte, NC United States
I bought this for my son to replace an older one no longer sharp. he likes and uses it daily bagels, veggies, etc

My first good bread knife - K. Matokhin -
Because of the long blade and serrated edge it slices bread really great.
No comparison to regular utility knives (even much more expensive ones - I have a set of Messermeister, but they are not bread knives).
This one is as good for bread as it gets.
